This afternoon our Upper Elementary students visited Otis Library to research Native American tribes as part of their cultural studies. What an educational afternoon!
Last week several members of the Coast Guard band came to perform for our students. They played a few songs for each classroom and taught the children about musical notes and melody. Our children were enthralled with the musicians and their instruments!

A past student, Adam Curtis, began a Coat Drive years ago. This is a yearly tradition that has continued at MDS since.
