Friday night our school community came together for a Potluck Supper. Parents and grandparents met in the Elementary building while the children watched Ratatouille and ate popcorn in the Primary building.
Families brought a host of delicious foods for the potluck; a beautiful charcuterie board, kielbasa and sauerkraut, and homemade Brioche bread were a few of the favorites.
After dinner a few Board members gave an introduction to the Board of Trustees and discussed important topics such as committees within our school, fundraisers, and opportunities for parent participation throughout the year. We were pleased to see so many parents sign up for volunteer opportunities!
Towards the end of the evening the teachers narrated a slide show with pictures from the first few weeks of school. It was a wonderful evening and a great way to kick off the 2016-2017 school year.
