It’s a HawaiianLuau!
Dust off your Hawaiian shirts and make sure you come to our Hawaiian Luau, MDS’ 24th annual fundraising auction! Tickets are $45 per person; this includes hors d’oeurves and dinner. We have a silent auction with lots of great stuff: gift certificates for restaurants and local businesses, gift baskets, and more. At our live auction you can bid on Hawaiian centerpieces made by the students as well as each class’ auction project. Room 1 is painting a bureau a la Georgia O’Keefe. Room 2’s project is a mosaic topped bench and the elementary students are making a hand quilted wall hanging of the northern stars. Other live auction items include a half day chartered fishing trip, a three night stay in a beautifully restored 1802 cape in Whitingham, Vermont that sleeps 6, a handcrafted picnic table and dinner for 2 at the Norwich Inn followed by a show at the Spirit of Broadway Theater in Norwich.
All proceeds benefit MDS so you’ll want to bid to raise money for the school. It goes directly to the students!
