MDS Annual Coat Drive

December 20, 2016

A past student, Adam Curtis, began a Coat Drive years ago. This is a yearly tradition that has continued at MDS since. Families donate winter clothing items and each year several Elementary Students accompany Ms. Marna to the St. Vincent de Paul Place to deliver them.

This year the children made the delivery, had a tour of the kitchen and food pantry, and were able to take a look at the area where Christmas presents will be given to those less fortunate. It is so important to teach our children to be kind, thoughtful, and to help those that are in need.

Thank you all for your participation in the Coat Drive; we continue to be so grateful for our MDS community!
