Montessori Secondary/Adolescent Teacher
Montessori Discovery School is seeking an adolescent (secondary) Montessori credentialed Guide to join our 9-12 Elementary classroom and lead a secondary program.
Montessori Elementary Teacher (6-12)
Montessori Discovery School is looking for a Montessori-trained 6-12 Guide to join our 6-12 elementary class. MDS also offers sponsorship opportunities for educators looking to work in Montessori education! We are looking for a person who enjoys working in a small school with a welcoming staff and engaged parents and students.
Montessori Trained Primary Teacher
Montessori Discovery School is seeking an AMS/AMI/MACTE certified Primary Lead Guide to lead one of our 3-6 classrooms. The person who joins us will have a commitment to classic Montessori education and a desire to grow professionally and personally.
Montessori Trained Infant/Toddler Teacher
Montessori Discovery School is seeking an AMS/AMI/MACTE certified Infant/Toddler Lead Guide to lead one of our Infant/Toddler program. The person who joins us will have a commitment to classic Montessori education and a desire to grow professionally and personally.

Located in beautiful southeastern Connecticut, MDS is a breath of fresh air from the busy city life. Our wetlands and fields provide outdoor explorations for our students as well as a home for our llamas and chickens. Children and staff learn to care for our environment and our animals while gaining independence through our Montessori curriculum. MDS is accredited by the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools, is a member of AMS, and Montessori Schools of Connecticut, and has AMS & AMI credentialed head teachers in each program.
