We have programs for three year olds through 12 year olds: pre-school through the 6th grade. We have before and after school and vacation programs for our students. Our summer programs are open to MDS students and the general public.
MDS is known for its strong commitment to Montessori education. All our head teachers hold Montessori credentials from teacher education programs that are accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE).
Earlier this month Diane Deedy, head of youth services at Norwich’s Otis Library, gave MDS Upper Elementary students and directress, Tara Rodriguez, a great tour of the traveling Smithsonian exhibit, “Exploring Human Origins: What Does It Mean To Be Human?”
